October 20, 1930 was the day that Vietnam Anti-imperialism Women's Association was established. Up to now, this day became Vietnamese women's day. This is also the day to honor and recognize heroes in history, heroic examples of Vietnamese nation, who sacrificed and fought to protect and build the country such as: Ba Trung, Ba Trieu, Bui Thi Xuan, Nguyen Thi Dinh, Nguyen Thi Minh Khai, Vo Thi Sau, Nguyen Thi Chien, Dinh Thi Van, etc.

Since ancient times, women have been an indispensable part of any life. Because they are not only a gentle mother, a virtuous wife, and a good daughter-in-law who daily takes care of family life and happiness, but also contribute to revolutions, the people and are reliable rear of men.
For these reasons, Uncle Ho chose 20 October to be a traditional day for memorizing and honoring Vietnamese women. “Heroic, honest, indomitable, efficacious”.
Not only in history. But also in modern time, women are always compared in the saying: “A man’s success is always backed by his woman”.
