On 23 October 2020, Truong Tan Sang, former Poliburo Member, Former President of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam visited, encouraged the enterprises in Tan Phu Trung Industrial Park, Cu Chi District, HCMC. Accompanying former President Truong Tan Sang were leaders of Department of Industry and Trade, Department of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs, Association of Architects of Ho Chi Minh City, leaders of Cu Chi District, Ho Chi Minh City Export Processing and Industrial Zones Authority (Hepza) and Tan Phu Trung Industrial Zone Authority.
The Panel Factory No.2 of Phuong Nam Soundproof Insulating Company (Phuong Nam Company) was visited by the Former President Truong Tan Sang for Phuong Nam Company is now the leading unit in modern technical equipment, soundproof, insulating and fire resistant panel production according to European advanced technology. Upon getting off car, receiving nice flowers, Mr. Truong Tan San recommended the delegates to go straightly to the factory No.2 at B4-10 Lot, Road 5, Tan Phu Trung Industrial Park.

Herein, on behalf of leaders of Phuong Nam Company, Giap Van Thanh reported to the former President of the process of rising up to realize the goal “Leading Panel technology” and introduced the features of soundproof, insulating, fire resistance and other outstanding and exclusive advantages of Phuong Nam Panel materials. Mr. Truong Tan Sang asked: “Has such good product been exported overseas?”. General Director Giap Van Thanh reported, over the past time, Phuong Nam Panel was exported by Vietnamese contractors to projects in some other countries, including Middle East, Europe, Japan.
The former President was pleased, further asked: “How are the quality and other technical standards of Phuong Nam panel compared to panel manufactured overseas?”. “The quality is surely equivalent. Previously, panel was imported by employers for building the projects, now thanks to panel manufactured by Phuong Nam, they no longer have to import”, said the representative of Association of Architects of Ho Chi Minh who accompanied. Mr. Truong Tan Sang again asked: “Is Phuong Nam panel is cheaper than imported panels? Business Director of Phuong Nam Company, Mr. Truong Van Truong reported: Panel of Phuong Nam is 30% cheaper than imported ones.

Viewing rigid, spacy, modern factory constructed by the panels manufactured by itself, Mr. Truong Tan Sang asked the delegates “Are you cool standing here?”. Herein, despite of heat outside, standing inside factory, every one is very cool, this thanks to panel of Phuong Nam which is effectively insulating. Mr. Truong Tan Sang believed that it is needed to encourage construction of factories, factories with light, green materials to protect laborers’ health and environment.

Mr. Truong Tan Sang highly appreciated the will of the leaders, officers and staffs of Phuong Nam Soundproof Insulating, who were determined to invest, master advanced, modern technology for improving panel production capacity in order to serve demand for domestic construction and exporting abroad. This is a right direction in line with inevitable trend of Vietnam as well as the world, construction of green buildings with green materials in order to protect environment.

Mentioning the victims in the Central from storms, floods, whose houses and belongings were swept away, he reinforced the officers, staffs of the Company to make effort to overcome difficulties, focus on production, make panel products for both market and help the people to have rigid, safe houses withstanding natural disasters, or living in soft ground.
